They then attached the piezoelectric composite strips to the sides of the capsule and connected them to the electrodes, and covered the piezoelectric composite strips with a layer of silicone as a protective layer. This layout means that the piezoelectric composite strips are slightly curved from the beginning, and only a small, short pressure is required to generate 15 microwatts of electricity.
