The China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance (CAIC) released data on China’s power battery industry in February. 

      The data show that in February 2022, China’s power battery output totaled 31.8 gwh, up 236.2% year-on-year and 0.0% month-on-month. The output of Ternary batteries was 11.6 gwh, accounting for 36.6% of the total output, up 127.2% , up 0.0% , and the output of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries was 20.1 gwh, accounting for 63.1% , up 364.1% , up 0.0% . In February 2022, China’s installed capacity of power batteries was 13.7 GWH, up 145.1% year on year and down 15.5% month on month. The total loading of three-component batteries was 5.8 gwh, up 75.6% , down 19.9% , and the total loading of Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries was 7.8 gwh, up 247.3% , down 12.3% .
