At 11:08 a.m. on August 4, the Long March 4B's terrestrial ecosystem carbon monitoring satellite, the Ju (gu) Mang, was successfully launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. 

    According to Tongmao linear motor, “Ju (gu) Mang” is a scientific research satellite in the medium and Long-term development plan of our civil space infrastructure. It operates at an altitude of 506km and an inclination of 97.4 sun-synchronous orbit. By means of laser, multi-angle, multi-spectrum, hyper-spectrum, polarization and other integrated remote sensing methods, the detection and measurement of vegetation biomass, atmospheric aerosol, vegetation chlorophyll fluorescence and other elements can be realized, it will be widely used in carbon stock monitoring, detailed ecological resource surveys, monitoring and evaluation of major ecological engineering, and related research on the role of aerosols in climate change. Speaking of aerospace industry, in recent years, our country has made great achievements in this field, and you know, linear motor in the aerospace field has many practical applications.
